Lloyds were made the financial partner of Children In Need, and in winning this business tasked DLBi with making a web portal. The purpose of the portal would be to encourage schools to raise funds and give members of the public the chance to donate on behalf of the schools. Every school would be given a profile which would display the financial goal they had set, how far along they were in reaching that goal, and also what they were doing to help raise the funds. Donaters could also donate without associating themselves to a school if they chose too. The portal was then adapted to fit the brand guidelines of Bank of Scotland.
